My computer slows down while scanning, why does this happen? Can I fix it?

this is part of the antivirus, there is no way to fix the slowing down thing........... except, you can stop processes that slow down the computer using a program called "task manager", first you put your mouse on the desktop, then right click, and go on "task manager". after that, you press the first the tab and click on the application that you want to end. that should help. also, you could use a program that ends processes that is taking up memory, it is known as razor game booster, heres the link: www.razerzone.com/gb-en/gameboosterPS- dont end tasks that help windows run!

Yeah sure. there are 3 ways to do this. you can do many more. 1) you could uninstall unneeded programs that you have downloaded from the internet. that could help. 2) use disk cleanup. it deletes temporary files and other files and frees about 5-2 Megabytes of space. 3) this software is quite handy. it is called CCleaner. it has the same purpose as disk cleanup except you can free up about 1000-200 Mega bytes of space. it deletes cookies, Log files, User assist history etc. heres the link: www.piriform.com/Hope this helped.
